"Spend Responsibly!"

If every man, woman and child currently owe over $45K, there's no way that will ever be paid back. Most people don't have $45K in savings. And that number continues to skyrocket upwards.

Of the 309M citizens in this country, less than half of them work (others are children, retired, disabled, etc). So, the share of that debt for those people who are currently working is over $90K per working American. And many Americans have low wage jobs and will never help pay down that debt. About half of American households don't pay any income taxes at all due to the progressive tax rates. So the burden of paying down that debt falls on those working people who pay taxes, and their burden comes to $180K per person.

Now this is not a static (unchanging) number. This number continues to spiral out of control. If you are a teenager right now, by the time you are in your prime working years, your 30's, 40's, and 50's, that debt could approach well over a quarter million dollars PER WORKER! And you will be paying off that enormous amount of money from EVERY ONE OF YOUR PAYCHECKS! And you wont get a single benefit from any of it, because it's all money that has already been spent. Much of what you will be paying for will be interest on debt to the Chinese who keep lending us money to fund Washington's irresposnible spending today!

Disgusting!

The Tea Party, a group of newly elected Republicans, has been sent to Washington DC last November to deal with this issue. The Democrats and much of the liberal media (like the New York Times) has criticized these people harshly. But they are our only hope for the future. If these Tea Party Republicans fail to deliver, this could be the beginning of the end of our country as we know it.

WAKE UP, TEENS! It's YOUR future that is at risk!!!

A Small Story My Dad Told Me

My dad was telling me an interesting story that had to do with something like welfare, and the animals in nature. I thought this would be a good thing to post considering the last post was on welfare.

"A few years ago, Karl lived in a community where everyone in the neighborhood loved the wild deer that roamed the area. Many of his neighbors would buy large bags of corn and leave it out for the deer to eat. Watching them come and eat was a beautiful sight.

But over time, more and more deer would arrive, and the good-intentioned neighbors had to start buying larger and larger bags of corn. After a several more months, the deer became too plentiful, and started becoming a nuisance. Some of the neighbors stopped putting out corn, both because the deer were too numerous, they were creating damage to the community, they were fighting over the free corn, and the corn bags themselves were getting too expensive. Later that year, many of these deer, which had now become dependent on the past corn, started starving. Others became aggressive & desperate for food. They were all unable to take care of themselves now because of the good hand of their "government", ie, the well-intentioned neighbors who fed them and turned these poor dumb animals into "wards of the state".

Exactly the same thing is happening in many of our own communities. Entire cities, like Detroit and Washington DC are completely dependent on welfare, due to well intentioned programs to feed these people. These recipients are like the clueless deer, never knowing that they were once capable of helping themselves, but now many of them roam around like zombies, devoid of any skills or ambition... waiting for their next handout from Uncle Sam.

These people have no future, no hopes, no dreams, no ambition. Nor do their children, or their children's children. Each generation of these "clueless deer" follows the example of their parents. Entire generations of families are lost in the system of good intentions.

God Bless the liberals who want to help all our poor people. And may you pray to God that you NEVER end up on the receiving end of their perpetual feed bags."

I Want My Money And I Want It Now!

My first real post will be about welfare. Welfare as stated by the Google dictionary is "governmental provision of economic assistance to persons in need". Now alone this is fine. People that actually are in need (mentally disabled, physically disabled, etc.) do deserve economic assistance if they are unable to supply it for themselves. But what is happening today? People are abusing the system. Along with that, people get this feeling of entitlement, they feel as if they deserve the money the government is giving them. This entitlement issue is driving the country further into the deficit. In 2009 over 600 billion dollars was spent on welfare.

The US Department of Labor reported that 1.9% total UI payments for 2001 was attributable to fraud or abuse within the UI program. If you do the math this is 11,400,000,000 dollars in fraud... There are so many stories about welfare fraud such as in April 2007, Los Angeles County- Through their citizen children, illegal immigrants in Los Angeles County collect $420 million annually in welfare and food stamps, according to a report requested by 5th District County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.  The Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services told the supervisor that payments to illegal immigrants' children amount to approximately 24% of the county's combined CalWORKS and food stamps budget. These are illegal immigrants using our tax money to live in our country illegally!

Wikipedia defines entitlement as "a guarantee of access to benefits based on established rights or by legislation." To make this clearer, I conducted a small experiment at my school. I gave people on my bus one piece of gum everyday. I did this for one week. Towards the end they wouldn't ask and I wouldn't offer, I'd just give it to them. But on Monday of the next week I got on the bus chewing my gum and my friends just all put out their hands waiting for their daily "share". I didn't give them anything. They asked where their gum was and I said I didn't have any for them. They were shocked! I told them I didn't need to give them gum... It was mine. But they resisted and said I owed them it. As if I were in some sort of debt to them. When I didn't give them any gum they started to do things even as severe as hurting me (playfully of course). They started raiding my bag, and when they fell to their defeat, they just didn't even talk to me. I just sat on the bus and smiled.

Now, how does this in any way relate to welfare and the government? The government is giving these people who really don't need welfare their "full share". These people get into a habit of getting their check and it starts to turn into a routine. When the payments stop though, they don't like it (obviously). They will try to get more! But, the problem is, the payments wont stop. Politicians will continue the government handouts to gain support for their political reign and continue to receive the votes.

Why is this bad? Someone once asked me. If everyone gets money why is that bad? Well, the answer lies in the simple phrase, "take from the workers, and give to the lazy". The government is taking the money from the hard money making workers and giving it to support this corrupt system of government handouts! Pretty much, the lazy Americans (or illegals) on the receiving side are being paid by the hard workers for doing... Nothing! Does that sound fair?

If politicians really cared about the citizens of America, they will stop the payments and get the lazy Americans to work for their money! Stimulate the economy and we will all be happier.
Thanks!
